Florian Speier

Florian was born and raised in Dusseldorf, German and received his architectural training at ETH in Zurich, Switzerland and Columbia University in New York City. Florian brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to window design. Before founding Zola Windows, Florian had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of architectural projects, both large scale commercial buildings such as the Seattle Public Library and custom homes. His experience includes work at Rem Koolhaas’s Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam, SHoP Architects in New York, and Zeitgeist Design in San Francisco, a company that he founded. Florian is a LEED AP and a Certified Passive House Consultant. Florian lives with his wife and business partner, Jessica, and their daughter in beautiful Colorado.
